Any one who uses Google photos to store photos online will be probably familiar with picasa. And this integration with online activity that proves to be its biggest strength. Picasa’s search options are limited at best-the quick search engine boost of only three buttons tarred movie and uploaded. The image editor has a few basic tools for cropping, straighten, red eye removal, and modifying contracts, color and brightness. Turning effects include highlights and shadows, and the effects gallery has a decent number of special effects- sharpen, sepia, black and white, film grin tint, soft focus, and glow among others. An interesting feature in picasa is ‘collage’ in which the user should select a couple of images and pick up a type collage then we can see the effect. Picasa a pile images as separate Polaroid photos in a pile. I am sure picasa will be software satisfying basic needs of users. Since the software is medium paced and does not have too many search options, picasa can be improved in these areas but definitely it is a great tool to integrate offline photos with web album
