I think you may not be aware of the fat feet problem. Flat feet problem is a problem that will affect people at any age for those who are flatfooted. Pes Planus or Flat Feet are most commonly a congenital condition but can also be acquired due to the foot being repetitively subjected to hard surfaces eventually weakening the arch of the foot. Particularly flat feet occur for pregnant women pursuant to temporary changes, due to increased elasticity during pregnancy. Pes Planus can be effectively treated with orthotics (special insoles) that provides biomechanical support and help feet to function more efficiently. The most effective orthotics is that which is custom made to fit your foot, but in many cases a non-prescription orthotics or insoles can be used. Apart from that going barefoot, particularly over terrain such as a beach where muscles are given a good workout is good for all but the most extremely flatfooted, or those with certain related conditions such as plantar fasciitis. So you need to be aware of this flat feet problem and try to use proper insoles in your shoes.
