Cricket was known as gentlemen game in the world. At the time cricket was started the form of cricket was testing cricket, which can be played for the maximum of five days. No other game in the world can be played continuously for five days. Now things are changing in the world. People want each and everything to be the compact so new form of cricket known as Twenty20, which was started few years back. Tournaments like IPL are at its peak now, which has provoked cricket as a purely a money-making game. This will certainly destroy the richness of cricket. Many forms of cricket can be introduced but Test Cricket is the real test for the player. He needs power, stamina, courage to face the fastest ball from the bowler etc. The introduction of Twenty20 has really changed the way the game was played. Usually people won’t see much of test cricket. So there will be empty seats in the stadium. So avoid this ICC has been thinking of day and night test matches etc. At this present age test cricket is struggling for its survival. Mainly test crickets are avoided because many matches go for a draw. This situation has to change by introducing new rules. So it is right for ICC to wake up and implement some steps to save test cricket.
